Work has now commenced on Phase 2. The indicative schedule for this phase is:
- September 2018 to July 2019
- Detailed design
- Consultation with owners and shopkeepers
- Negotiation on legal agreements
- Submission of planning applications
- July 2019 to September 2019
- Carry out tender processes
- October 2019 to September 2020
- Carry out the phase 2 contract
The building work started on 9th April 2018. During the course of the year, the following premises on the High Street have had new facades installed:
72, 72A, 83, 89, 109, 115 & 117
